REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

All Bacata Jewelry pieces are made to order. Each item is crafted individually using authentic Colombian emeralds and solid 14k gold, sourced and fabricated exclusively for you. For this reason, our refund policy reflects the nature of bespoke, handcrafted luxury jewelry.

CANCELLATIONS BEFORE PRODUCTION BEGINS
If you wish to cancel your order before production has started, you are eligible for a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee. To request a cancellation, contact us within 48 hours of your purchase at bacatajewelry@gmail.com.

CANCELLATIONS AFTER PRODUCTION HAS BEGUN
Once sourcing of materials or casting has begun, we are unable to offer a full refund. In this case, we will refund the recoverable value of the gold content only, calculated at the current market spot price minus 30%, reflecting the cost of recovery. Emeralds are non-refundable under any circumstance.

WHY EMERALDS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
Colombian emeralds are fragile gemstones. Once set in gold and then removed, the risk of fracture is significant — and the resale value of a dismounted stone drops considerably. For this reason, the emerald portion of any piece cannot be refunded or returned.

MANUFACTURING DEFECTS
In the rare event that a piece arrives with a manufacturing defect, we will remake the piece at no cost to you. Defects must be reported within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence.

FINAL SALE
All sales are final except as described above. We do not accept returns for change of mind, size preferences, or minor natural variations in the appearance of the emerald or gold finish, as these are inherent characteristics of handcrafted jewelry.
